Featured in Aviation History Magazine
"The Race" shows U.S. Navy Lieutenant Alford J. Williams, piloting a one-of-a-kind Curtiss XF6C-6 monoplane converted from a biplane, rounding a pylon at Roosevelt Field in 1930. John MacGilchrist was in attendance at this famous race. Marine Captain Arthur Page would die after crashing the experimental aircraft later in the year at the Thompson Trophy Race.
